Wombs of the Earth, Daughters of the Soil
About the Retreat

Wombs of the Earth, Daughters of the Soil is our annual sacred gathering created to nurture the holistic well-being of Afro-Indigenous Women. Participants will engage in culturally responsive somatic practices, spiritual reflection, community building, and self-care rituals.
This retreat honors the spiritual connection to Mother Earth, offering space to grieve, rejoice, and reconnect with Black and Brown bodies, while restoring the wisdom that oppressive and colonial systems sought to erase. Through ceremony, ancestral remembrance, plant healing, body movement, and nature immersion, Wombs of the Earth, Daughters of the Soil is a return to wellness and a celebration of the strength they embody.
The retreat will take place each year during Liberation weekend [Juneteenth], in the mountains of NC, welcoming participants for a weekend of healing, connection, and renewal.
